If You Want To Succeed, Never Stop Learning

Too many people believe education ends after school. Who actually uses all that algebra stuff anyway? Well, besides scientists.
However, that is not true. Okay, so you may not find yourself tuning into algebra lessons from your past but math is a huge part of every day life. When you have that knowledge on hand, you’ll be able to withdrawal from your memory bank as needed.
No matter how willing (or unwilling) you might be to learning new things, I would bet you’re learning something new every day. Life is filled with lessons, a small event can teach you a little something new. Much of this education goes unnoticed.
How does this tie into business and mompreneurism?
If you want to start your own business you’ll need to be very open to new educational opportunities. So open, in fact, that you’ll need to allow yourself some time to study. Whether you’re drawing from the knowledge of others or gathering this information from a book, you will find that by going into business it is nearly like going back to school.
Your business will show you how to expand on your ideas. You’ll quickly find that you just don’t know enough, although you’d previously thought you’d known it all. There is always a tidbit of information somewhere that can be added to your bank of knowledge. You must always be open to learning something new, or you might fail. How can you expect to grow a business, if you won’t allow your mind to grow with it?
I have always said that experience is the best teacher, and I stand behind my statement. School is great. Books are wonderful. Unfortunately you are left with more to be desired. Your business gives you experience. Allow yourself to learn as you continue to grow your business, and you’ll both be expanding in new ways.
What have you learned today?
